Thanks to key donations from a few generous souls within the Morgellons community, Skin Deep: The Battle Over Morgellons has been empowered to fill two absolutely critical roles in our retail DVD/Streaming launch: Publicist & Marketing Director.
Our new Publicist who will help get press and exposure for Morgellons disease sufferers is Annie Jeeves from Cinematic Red. Welcome aboard, Annie!
And our Marketing Director is the intrepid Jenny Gallagher from genly.com, who will guide social media exposure and create the appetite for our big goal: 500 iTunes pre-orders in the months of February and March.
Why are we focusing on 500 iTunes pre-orders in February and March? Because if we get 500 iTunes pre-orders, the chances are very high that Netflix will license SKIN DEEP. And a Netflix release will broadcast the message that “Morgellons is Real” across the entire world.
We’ll be calling on our supporters to spread the word and pre-order on iTunes in a couple of weeks, but if you’d like to support our marketing efforts right now, you can make a tax-deductible donation that will allow us to find supporters on social media who have not heard of this documentary yet.
I’d also like to mention how grateful we are to be in the capable hands of our retail distributors, Gravitas Ventures. If you haven’t checked out their library of films, treat yourself. They release a new movie every single day. And March 31st is the big day for SKIN DEEP.
And remember, SKIN DEEP is available for purchase right now as an Educational/Community DVD. The DVD comes with a public performance license allowing you to legally screen the film for community audiences, classrooms and staff members.
